SO I’m still alive. 2 Cons back to back and 6 commissions to fill before them = quite tiring. But, Nekocon was AMAZING. Debuted my half-way finished SiSen cosplay which still went over well. The Sound BEE HD played and ROCKED the con. Hiro the drummer likes to wander and mingle, Yuichi is delicious, You is a sweetie, Tak is funny and Daisuke just likes to hang out. My friend Rob Lance spun an awesome set Saturday, and Greg Ayres (surprisingly) let people (including me) on stage and CHANGED HIS SET LIST FINALLY. Had a hick up in the weekend due to personal affairs but it was spectacular. Anime USA was hawt as well. Takuya Angel DJ’d the Raves. My sister and friend came with me to their first con ever and thankfully, our room had only 5 people in it so it was clean, uncrowded , and no huge ugly rainbow exploding all over the place *cough cough*. Got to hang out at all the staff parties, chill with Sound BEE and Takuya, Tony from Echo Stream gave me beers at both cons, and got to run around behind the scenes. I love knowing everyone~
To sum it up, this was a HUGE pick up from Ota. While tiring it was exciting and full of awesome memories of new and old friends.
